Front Yard Landscape

Sobrato Landscape Project:

The lawn and original plants in the front yard were removed first. The soil was prepped by removing all roots and large rocks and then soil amendments were rototilled in. Flagstone was installed along with two large rocks. New sprinklers were installed along with conduit for all low voltage line runs. The lawn was installed and plants and drip irrigation were installed in the surrounding planters. The low voltage lighting accentuates the walkway and the wall washes light up the rocks and plants at night.

Hill Landscape

Fairview Plaza Pathway & Succulent Plant Landscape Project:

After all the weeds were cleared, the soil level was dug down and terraced to install the pathway stepping up in 4’ to 8’ sections at a time. Pressure treated 4”X6” wood beams were used which were secured with ¾” round by 24” long steel stakes. The pathway was filled with chipped slate, which matched the cement wall and does not kick easily. To protect the drip pipe from critters, the hillside was trenched and all drip pipe was buried. Drip irrigation was run to all plants on the hillside to insure they're watered properly. Different varieties of succulents and ground cover plants were planted along the hillside and the smaller succulents were planted in gopher cages.
